Περιγραφή: A 5000 sf space in a large new retail facility was being finished out by Cadence McShane General Contractors for CARTIER Jewelers. When moisture testing showed a very high RH in the concrete slab, and the need for a large amount of leveling was apparent, Maintenance Solutions was contracted to apply KOSTER VAP1 2000 ZERO and SL Self Leveling cement. The floor was shot blasted to a CSP 3-4. KOSTER VAP1 2000 ZERO was installed at 11-15 mils in the areas that were to receive hardwood flooring. VAP 06 primer was used on top of the VAP1 2000 ZERO and SL primer was used on the blasted concrete areas that had no VAP. The concrete was then shot with a laser and the floor was measured and marked off with pins to show the various thicknesses of leveling cement needed to provide a flat, smooth, level floor. Since the weather was very hot and there was no indoor storage area for the SL, Maintenance Solutions rented a refrigerated container, and the SL cement was stores in a very cool environment prior to being mixed and pumped. SL Self Leveling cement was pumped onto the 06 primer and the SL primer at thicknesses ranging from 1/8 to 1 inch.
